Laquesha Brannon Wilkins Is an Authentic Educator Extraordinaire. Currently serving as a Literacy Facilitator. She has worked in the special needs population since 1995 (23+ years), in education for over 20 years, and in alternative education for 8+ years. She is and Educational Consultant with Authentic Alternatives, LLC. She is currently completing her Doctoral Candidacy. Mrs. Wilkins serves as an Organizational Leader/Strategist, and is a TRUE Youth Advocate.

Latoya Hunt An educator for 15 years. She has a BA in Psychology and MA in Urban Education: Community Counseling both from Norfolk State University. She is an Exceptional Children's Compliance Facilitator for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Latoya believes in service to all mankind.
Veronica Diaz Cruz Veronica Cruz has been a member of the Charlotte community for 10 years after relocating from Arizona. She is determined to make a positive and powerful impact in the community through advocacy after serving as an advocate for persons with disabilities, domestic violence and sexual assault survivors, and children experiencing displacement for the past decade. She holds a bachelor’s degree in human services and is excited to be a change agent in the mission of Tiny Touch of Love, Inc.
Ciera Harris Ciera' Harris is a native of Charlotte, NC. She graduated with a Bachelors in Mass Communication and Political Science in 2013 and a Masters in Public Administration in 2018, both from North Carolina Central University. In addition to grant writing experience, she has worked for a number of political campaigns and participated in voter registration and food drives. She also has experience in volunteer recruitment, event planning and execution, social media management and creating social media campaigns, freelance writing, and fundraising. In her spare time she enjoys reading, writing, traveling, hiking with her dog Leo, tutoring, and volunteering at the Humane Society.
Charlene Petty Has been an educator for over 15 years. She has obtained a BS Business Administration & Management, MA Educational Leadership Education Experience, and has served Alternative Education for 14 years. She currently serves in the capacity of Assistant Principal. She is an educational consultant with Authentic Alternatives, LLC.
Charonn Barnette Motivational Speaker, Community Leader, Youth Advocate and Founder of Young Men Arise in Charlotte, NC. He is the pastor of The House of Restoration Ministries. He is an exemplar servant leader that gives tirelessly to the community. He illustrates leadership to youth by guiding through experience and supporting in any capacity. His passionate, selfless, altruistic character is the gift to the at-risk population he serves. He is not limited to the said roles, but serves those in need and those that are lost.
